Bitcoin ETFs End Outflow Streak
US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $197.4 million in net weekly inflows, ending an eight-consecutive-week outflow streak that had accumulated approximately $8 billion in redemptions. Ethereum ETFs also participated in the rebound, with combined BTC and ETH ETF inflows reaching $282 million for the week. Bitcoin held $64,000 support during the period.
ETF Flows aren't really news!
This week's $197 million doesn't erase the $8 billion that walked out over eight weeks — but over-analysing Bitcoin ETFs is a fool's errand.
At any moment there are plenty of actors with different motives — profit-taking, fee optimisation, cash-and-carry — driving the ETF ebbs and flows. Without the full context, the ‘end of week’ net wrap-up is largely noise.
That’s why we shelve most of the constantly revolving Bitcoin ETF inflow and outflow stories - in case you were wondering!
