Bitcoin Core 32.0 Arrives Late — and Its New Transaction Files Break Co-Signing With Older Wallets

Bitcoin Core’s signed 32.0 source tag appeared on GitHub on 21 October, per CryptoSlate; binaries were not yet on the download page a day later. The release’s graphical wallet creates version-2 PSBT transaction files, which older wallets and some external signers cannot read — stalling mixed-version co-signing, per a GitHub user report. A maintainer moved the compatibility fix to 32.1. No losses are reported.
